Lois paints for God

These paintings were made by our incredible Lois Thompson, and each are connected to her faith, and what she hears from our Loving Father. She says, "The paintings are an allegory for Jesus' words."

Heavenly

This was made during a personal time of loss.

The Lemmings

(With reference to the 2008 financial crisis). The child on the shoulders of one of the characters is pointing to the light away from all the despair and rush towards the precipice.

John 5:4

"Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch."

The Castle

The castle is a picture of God described as a mighty fortress in scripture. The embroidered figures linked together have laid themselves down as the drawbridge. By acts of service and love and self-sacrifice, the drawbridge offers a way into the fortress of God himself.

Luke 6:43

"For a good tree does not bear bad fruit nor does a bad tree bear good fruit."
