Those of you who were with us on Sunday will remember how I talked about 2 Chronicles 20, and how Jehoshaphat sent worshipers into battle, placing them at the front of the army.
One thing we must be more aware of in this new era is that we need to be people who worship with passion. We need to be people who intercede and pray. We need to be people who really seek His face and His presence.
So, what we are going to be doing on the weeks when we do not meet at The Henry Cook Centre, we are going to meet instead at a different location (still at 10am), with a key aim of pressing into His presence, to really worship, to pray, to intercede and to learn and grow together in a place of worship and exercising spiritual gifts. We want to grow with God.
We want a place that is safe, alongside people who love and care for us, where we can make those mistakes and learn from them, amongst other believers, doing our best to bring glory to Him. We need to be in a place where people will allow us to do that, and to learn and grow.
I want to encourage you to come along. To find out the location details each week, you will have to DM us. This is our heart as a Church; we want to press in, and we want to be at the head, pushing forward into God's plan as we worship and intercede in Jesus' name.
We can't wait to see you there.
